Marching East - WIP Part 7

I didnt had much time to get some progress, but i couldnt resist to put the base coat on the T-70.
There are still some littles changes i have to do on the little russian - damn macro ;)

The Weekend is over by now and the T-70 building is almost finished.
I was a whole lot-a-work, cost me many sweat, blood and tears to get the tracks where they now. The were real ruff segment-pieces, but very very fragile.
The Welding-lines will get a little sanding and also the top-deck of the hull will get some textures before ist goes to the base-coat

After hours of filing and sanding the T-70 is now 70% done. The Resinparts were fitted and assembled and the etch-parts are glued and soldered together. But there are more to fix.

Yesterday i finished the Stug IIIb, it just need some welding-lines and some little Details.
I also received the delivery for my T-70 parts and i made me some thoughts about the setup.
I dont want to bore you with my words - so here are the pictures:

Marching East - WIP Part 3

I got some new parts for my Dio. This is a etch-parts kit for my T70 and a Resin-Mantlet with a machined barrel. I will take care on this later.

I also completed the horses on the Fieldkitchen, It will be later detailed.
The Stug3b vom Dragon were also startet to build. I only have pictures from Monday, because the actual state from yesterday is, that the tracks are already mounted and the Fender are also ready to assemble.
I think the building will ne finished this week.

But everything needs more detailing, but i will do this, as soon as every vehicle is build in general.

The Baseground is also constructet. It measures 31x36cm (this is the maximal diameter, that fits in my IKEA Glas-cabinet.
I am still not shure about the model placing. I will have a closer look on this, when the vehicles are finished.

Marching East - WIP Part 2

I continued the T-70 tank and tryed to get him damaged a little. This is my progress so far - of course there is a lot more work to do. But for now i will put this aside, maybe i will replace the T-70 with a T26 and put the Date back to 1941. This is much more comfortable for me.

Yesterday i startet with the fieldkitchen from Tamiya - quite an old lady, but still a goldie. The cart itself is nearly finished but needs some detailing after all. The horses are just glued together and will need a lot of work.



Marching East - WIP Part 1

Yesterday i startet with my new projekt.
Mylast Diorama is finished and i got some free days to get new ideas.
The next projekt will be a countryside street with marching german soldiers to the east-front.

I thought about using some german Landsers marching together with a Stug IIIb and a Gulaschkanone (mobile kitchen) along a street - and on the side a knocked out soviet T-70 tank.
I thought about something like that (buw not so crowded)

At the same time, i used my empty worktable to clean everything a little up and build me a little photo-booth. I know, its not perfect, but it will be enough for the beginning.

I decided to use following kits, a Dragon (Cyberhobby) Stug IIIb, some Dragon Figures (note: there is also a second marching group inclued by the stug), some Verlinden-stuff, a old Tamiya Gulaschkanone and a Toga T-70. I always wanted to build this cheapy creapy thing - i will see what its like. Maybe iam gonna replace, if i dont get it to work). The Time-setting will be around July/August 1942.

I just startet the TOGA T-70 yesterday - here are the first pictures:
